We are all sitting on a huge digital expansion, where no one would be able to see the start and the end points of the magnitude scale. The innovations which are currently going on and are to be introduced in the near future, will shift the parameters of prosperity. We will see personal wealth creation at a global level, on a scale never seen before. We will have a people not only from US, UK but far remote areas like Russia, to china, India, and other areas taking their share in the global economy.
I believe the biggest change which will transform the internet will come from Asia.
How all this happened will be due to opportunity windows in terms of change/code of conduct in the nature of business in particular industries. e.g.

Renewable, clean, and affordable fuels.
Transportation:
Hydrogen enable cars, abilities of individual and companies to go mobile
Education:
Immediate, portable, anywhere, on-demand knowledge sources on a global scale.
Health:
Major advances in medical, bio-technology in helping health enhancements and extension of human life.
Security:
New devices/services to help secure, protect society, data, online privacy and much more.
Material:
Nano-bio-neuro materials that is safer, cleaner, cheaper and smarter to make any products with on-demand. Future computer chips will include nanotech, photonics or DNA.
Communications:
The new ways to connect freely, anywhere, on-demand to people, data and logic. Real-time financial transactions, websites as service, Web beyond web 3.0, Feeds API and more. Quantum encryptions to protect networks, products, and perhaps people. Internet in a box.
The innovations will push the envelope in every part of our life. If current trends help to build 5,000 billionaire, the near future will produce One Billion or more. With this, one needs to watch these industry closely and to participate.
