Science lies at the heart of every innovation that has extended life, improved conditions, created a better world. Science exemplifies the human conditions with two side. i.e. Risk or opportunity. It is upto individual on who he can leverage the sides. Today, we already have companies who are pushing the limits e.g.
- Internet already exhibits self-healing powers, like humans. It can diagnose problem, self-conditions, and keep working.
- iRobot presents robots that can linked, communicate via one-mind. Honda’s robots can walk stairs, can work, reason and learn from the environment. Even, recently Honda robot conducts an entire orchestra.
- NASA is building space stations vehicles using nanobio materials that functions as human beings.
- INTERNET 2, the next generation of NET, offers a test mode of advanced multimedia, virtually-reality application with superfast connections.
- Photons are able to move bits of light from one place to another. Next is a teleporting object. Remember the star wars..
The question arises from the arena are:
When the internet achieves self-awareness, will WE be ready?
What happened if Internet’s power transcends HUMAN INTELLIGENCE?
In the past 50 years, there have been more changes in our world than in the previous 2000 years. I forecast that the next 50 years will see even more radical, out-of-the-box changes in our world.
Science is a primary change driver enabling bigger, faster and more radical change than any one has ever imagine.
So, are you the one who will buy the condos? Or the one who will provide the condos?
